When I wander unknown corners of the world, I gain confidence through my ability to calmly navigate situations independently.
It’s magical being far from everything familiar. And during these moments of solitude, I feel the magnitude of our expansive world. I’m carried away in the thrill of it all - destinations full of complete strangers, each with a story uniquely their own.
Sometimes, I’m tempted to strike up conversations with others. But then I tell myself to embrace the isolation. It will support my growth. These gentle reminders make it easier for me to accept it, and I am then able to appreciate the time away from what I know.
