Portugal - Porto

Winding streets, mosaic facades, & profound reflections.

As the trip came to an end, I made time - just for me.

Before I left for Europe, there were many things on my mind that I hoped this trip would help me solve. Walking around the labyrinth of cobblestone streets in Porto, I finally felt inspired to focus on my personal writing and photography. I believe travel stimulates creativity, and that can be liberating. Often times when on the road, I get occupied with other distractions and neglect to make space for these activities. But my last days in Portugal turned out to be perfect for working through my thoughts creatively.

Creating is part of the learning process that helps me better understand my own values, attitudes, and beliefs.

I wondered, how would becoming more self aware support me when facing future challenges and making important decisions?

Although I didn’t walk away with every answer, the reflection helped me identify long-term goals and better understand what I hoped to achieve.

I finally felt ready to return home to see what was next, taking a fresh outlook with me.
