A radical approach to a challenging situation was the perfect opportunity for personal development.
At a time when I needed to see the world full of attainable and alternative options, Myanmar turned out to be the eventful journey that I needed. My trip to Southeast Asia was full of adventure and led me to reevaluate my strengths and to think differently about my current circumstances.
One adventure after another became a phenomenal memory. Navigating my way through the dense palm jungle, I found a tucked away, remote oasis in the form of a hidden beach. The tops of cliffs became springboards into deep cleansing clear blue pools below me. I cruised through floating villages on avenues made of water. And I walked down an isolated and empty road among ancient temples - losing my way, but maintaining confidence and control of my feelings.
Adventure and discovery served as a source of inspiration.
I knew I had the motivation to persevere and overcome any challenges that lay ahead of me. With so many opportunities to pursue, I departed Myanmar, with excitement and hope.
